Aishwarya Rai’s special performance for Uttarakhand floods victims

Aishwarya Rai’s special performance for Uttarakhand floods victims! It is a joint effort by Bollywood stars and TV celebs to raise funds for Uttarakhand floods victims. The oh-so-beautiful Aishwarya Rai along with other celebs is expected to perform on the stage for the event ‘Saath Hai Hum - Uttarakhand’.

It’s been months since Aishwarya Rai performed at any event, and as she is always associated with charities in India and abroad and is even a UN spokesperson, she might just be a part of this initiative by Star India.

The event already has her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan lending his support. It’s learnt that hubby Abhishek Bachchan, too, has given his nod to the show. Also, there is a buzz that Aishwarya Rai will be a stellar attraction at the function. “The actress will apparently be performing to a medley of patriotic songs for the event,” claim sources.

Amitabh Bachchan, Abhay Deol, Neha Dhupia and Bipasha Basu have also shot for the promos. Other names likely to be associated for the cause are Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham.

Lata Mangeshkar, A R Rahman, Boman Irani, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Pritam, Prasoon Joshi, Mukesh Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana and celebrities from top television shows of the Star network such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Saraswatichandra, Savdhan India, Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and India’s Dancing Superstar among others will be seen supporting the initiative.

Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India, said in a statement: “I am delighted that the Indian film industry has embraced our outreach plan and is partnering with us in this initiative to spread hope.”
