This Friday, India's democracy will be under fire in the movie
Satyagraha. In the upcoming film, Amitabh Bachchan is ready to start a
movement against corruption. Are you ready to join this movement this
weekend?
Satyagraha is political thriller directed by Prakash Jha and the movie
is said to reflect the society and focus on the common man and highlight
his aggression, struggle and demand for justice.
This multi-starrer movie features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena
Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.
The trailers of the movie look pretty intense.`
Quite a few scenes from the movie might remind the audience of the Anna
Hazare movement that took place in 2011. Although the movie has been
inspired by current situations, Jha made it clear to us that Satyagraha
is not based on any true story. Jha tells us that Big B does not play
the role of the social activist Anna Hazare in Satyagraha.
The movie which is set to release on August 30 will mark another
political thriller from Prakash Jha. The director is known for such
movies. He also tells us that he is not creating any social message
through this movie. Satyagraha will have an uprising of the middle
class. Let us wait and watch if this movie brings any changes in the
society.
Have a look at the slide show for the preview of Satygraha.
