Beauty Secrets: Madhuri Dixit vs. Aishwarya Rai

In terms of food and drink: I believe that for looking good you need to stay hydrated. I drink at least 10 glasses of water a day to detoxify my body and keep my hair and skin glowing...I avoid fast food, I don't smoke or drink, and I love eating fruits, veggies, and healthy dairy products.
In terms of skin and hair care rituals: I also follow a very basic CTM [cleansing, toning, moisturizing] routine with the purest of ingredients...One thing I simply can't travel without is besan. It's the answer to all my skin woes. I also use cucumber to soothe my skin after shooting. Essential oils are my biggest indulgence. I carry a bottle of coconut oil mixed with red palm kernel oil for my hair.
Rai didn't say much regarding her workout routine but we have heard that she is a big fan of yoga, as per The Times of India.

Madhuri Dixit is yet another Bollywood actress who has been aging gracefully and still looks as young at 46 as she did nearly fifteen years ago. Here are some of Dixit's beauty secrets as per IndiaToday.com:
In terms of skin and hair care: Moisturise, moisturise, and moisturise, and just wear SPF. Also, oil your hair. It is very important to oil your hair before you wash it.
In terms of diet and exercise: I currently work out six days a week, eat healthy, and try to get plenty of sleep. Ideally, I will have five to six small, healthy meals a day. I don't believe in fad diets. It is very important to maintain your vitamin intake and supplements as necessary.
Here are a couple more tips that Dixit gave to Vogue Magazine:
In terms of working out: Yes, I believe in staying fit but the gym is not everything. I practice kathak thrice a week at home and on the other two days I work out. I believe in staying healthy that shows in my skin.
In terms of beauty recipes you can whip up in your home:  Besan, honey and lemon juice works amazingly for your skin. Even cucumber dipped in milk, is one of my favourite kitchen remedies.
So it's interesting to see that some of the things that Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit recommend are the same: besan, cucumber, eating healthy etc.
However, it looks like Dixit is a big fan of working out which Rai is not. This isn't surprising since we know that Madhuri is a fabulous dancer and we didn't see her having any trouble losing baby weight.
However, it could just be that she was not around while she was losing baby weight because of her temporary retirement, and that's why she seems to have lost her post-baby weight quickly, unlike Aishwarya Rai.
