A couple of years ago, Sonam Kapoor replaced Aishwarya Rai for the brand endorsement of cosmetic giant Loreal. Sonam created quite a buzz with this ad replacement.
And now, post her success in Raanjhanaa, the actress is all set to become a film star. We mean, she's soon going to be the face of Lux soap, famous for its tagline - the beauty bar of film stars.
Sonam Kapoor will be seen with her Raanjhanaa co-star on the soap giant's print advertisement as well as the electronic advertisement.
Lux, one of the best-selling soaps that started off as a feminine skin and beauty soap way back in 1925, had, of late, begun to rope in male actors like Shah Rukh Khan too. Now, their next face is Dhanush, currently a popular name with the youth, owing to his hit Kolaveri Di, and his recent success in the film Raanjhanaa.
The last faces of Lux have been Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif - as couples in the television advertisement, that aired post thier pairing in Yash Raj's Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Earlier, Lux soap had Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan as the brand couple. And now, with Sonam Kapoor replacing Aishwarya Rai here as well, it seems like Aish's not going to like her so much. What say?
