Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has offered sound advice to lovers everywhere
in the wake of actress Jiah Khan's suicide last week. Respect life and
don't lose hope, cautioned SRK at the launch of the trailer of his film Chennai Express in Mumbai today. (Jiah: Once Bollywood's brightest young thing)
"Everyone has different definition of love. Love is a universal thing. I play the role of a lover which are written by a set of people, it is their interpretation of love. But I feel we should respect life more than love," Shah Rukh told reporters.
"There are going to be difficult times in everyone's life but one must not give up, and respect life. Every problem will be sorted out, don't lose hope," he cautioned.
Jiah was found hanging in her Mumbai home on the night of June 3. Her ex-boyfriend and aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, has been arrested and charged with abetting the 25-year-old starlet's suicide. Jiah made her debut with Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabd opposite Amitabh Bachchan in 2007. She later appeared with Aamir Khan in Ghajini
