Kanye West: Kim Kardashian’s Fashion Risks Show ‘She Loves Me’

Even though the reality star is often criticized for a lot of her fashion-forward choices, Kanye loves that she listens to his advice and takes chances — it’s a sign of her love!

Kanye West, 36-year-old hip-hop superstar, gave a very revealing interview to W magazine regarding his fashion career, his new album, his move to Paris, and Kim Kardashian‘s style! Kim often comes under fire for what she wears, but Kanye could care less!

Kanye West Kim Kardashian Fashion:

When asked about the makeover debacle he started with Kim’s wardrobe and style, he sweetly stated: “Nobody can tell my girl what to do. She just needed to be given some platforms of information to work from.” He describes how Kim is always in the tabloids and therefore, so are her risky fashion choices — but he loves it all, even if she does occasionally suffer a fashion flop!
“One beautiful thing is that as she discovers it, the world discovers it. For her to take that risk in front of the world, it just shows you how much she loves me. And how much she actually loves the opportunity to learn. You got, like, a million companies saying, ‘This is impacting your brand! This is impacting your fans! And blah blah blah.’ But she still sees this light of beauty.” He is so supportive of Kim and her fashion choices, how sweet!
It sounds like these two share a very special bond that goes beyond his fame and her reality show. “Oh, that’s just all for love. It’s simply that. At a certain point, or always, love is more important than any branding, or any set of cool people, or attempting to impress anyone. Because true love is just the way you feel,” he said.

Kanye West On His Fashion Line:

The rapper-turned-designer takes his fashion career very seriously and candidly discussed his collections. “The first collection was way better than the second,” he said. “It was more artful. It was 30 collections in one. It just takes time for me to slow down and think like a normal person.” Established designers, West notes, are already “in a position to go crazy. I tried to come out of the gate going crazy. And it didn’t work. So now I have to somehow put out something that says, ‘I look sensible!’”
We’re happy to hear that he isn’t giving up on his dream of being an established designer and can’t wait to see what he has in store!
