Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly bought a new
bungalow worth Rs 50 crore, which is located just behind the family's
primary residence, Jalsa. As per the reports, this is the fifth
bungalow, the Bachchans have bought, after Jalsa, Prateeksha, Vatsa and
Janak.
Sources informed a leading daily that the Bachchans were on a hunt for a
new property around their residence for quite some time now, possibly
keeping in mind about the expanding family, after Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya's birth. Abhishek, his wife Aishwarya and
their baby Aaradhya reside in a joint family, along with the senior
Bachchans at Jalsa. And now that the Bachchan family is slowly growing,
will Aishwarya and Abhishek shift to their new paradise?
As per the media reports, the bungalow, that measures around 8,000 sq
feet and is yet to be named. The property is registered in the names of
Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan. Sources informed a daily that since it is
located just behind Jalsa, it will be easy for the Bachchans to "simply
break the compound wall and merge the two properties, thereby making
for a huge open space." On the other hand, the Bachchan remained
unavailable for comments.
