Instead, Christina, 31, chose a mint green one-shoulder swimsuit with a sturdy bodice and secure ties that offered no risk of a potential fashion trauma.

wrong, she kept her cut-off denim shorts with gold studded stars firmly
on for most of the day in the sun.
Proving she is still a hip hop star at heart despite her recent job on network television, Milian carried a brassy gold pair of lace-up sandals that would have better matched one of her stage outfits.

Christina only landed in Miami on Thursday and it seems she has wasted no time winding down and getting into holiday mode.
The star recently said she felt she had learned a lot from her stint on the fourth season of The Voice, which was won by Danielle Bradbery.
'I feel like what's changed for me as an artist is that I feel that I'm soaking it in. I'm also a learner,' Christina told The Examiner.
'I'm
like a child learning all over again. It's great because it just
reinstalls that passion that I had from when I was younger and so it
just excites me.
'I already know what the fans and the people that are watching the show want to see; like the big performances that are put together- and I think imagine when it's my turn! (Laughs) I want everything!' she went on to say.
