Until lately, Aishwarya Rai has always been protective of her little one, shielding her from reporters and photographers. So our photos of Aaradhya have been limited to a few special occasions.
Of late, we saw the Bachchan family returning to Mumbai from New York and Aaradhya looked particularly cute in her pink shirt and leopard-print tights.
Mommy Aishwarya carried her in her arms while Abhishek Bachchan walked ahead.

We're not sure exactly why this family can't all walk together!
If we were being negative, we'd say that Abhishek is a chauvinist who expects his wife and child to follow.
However, we really think that he's just being protective of Aishwarya and Aaradhya. By walking ahead, he can shield them to some extent from the reporters and photographers.
Of course, Aishwarya may not need to be protected because she's an adult and, being Miss World and a Bollywood star, she's probably used to the paparazzi.
However, Aaradhya is only a year and half old and it can't be healthy for a kid to be in the public eye so much. So her father is trying to protect her in whatever way he can.
