Radha Mohan's Gouravam, which is the launchpad of Allu Sirish, the
son of noted Telugu producer Allu Aravind, has garnered mixed reviews.
The film, which was simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil with the
same title, has got better response in Andhra Pradesh than in Tamil
Nadu.
Gouravam is made on a social evil and the content of the film seems to
have attracted only a section of people both in Tamil Nadu and Andhra.
Adding to that, the absence of regular commercial elements has failed to
large extent.
However, critics have given mixed reviews for Gouravam. While the
underlining points of the film are content, performances of the young
and senior actors and the message, the main drawback is lack of
entertainment values. Nonetheless, people have praised Allu Sirish for
choosing an off-beat film to make his debut as an actor rather than
opting for commercial potboiler just like his brother Allu Arjun and his
cousin Ram Charan Teja.
Gouravam also features Yami Gautham, Nassar, Elango Kumaravel, Sricharan
and Anupama Kumar in the cast. Follow the slideshow to read multiple
