Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha walked out of the sets of Lootera when
her co-star Ranveer Singh accidentally spat on her face. Speaking to
India Today Online, Ranveer narrated rather enacted as to how it exactly
happened.
He said, " There was a scene where I was supposed to deliver my dialogue angrily holding Sonakshi Sinha by the hair. I decided that this will be a one take shot so I built up the rage inside me and got into the skin of the character. Just when I opened my mouth, with blood shot in my eyes, looking at her intensely, I ended up spitting on her face."
Despite several warning by Sonakshi during rehearsals of this scene, Ranveer still spat on her. Sonakshi fumed and walked out of the set and entered her van saying "How much does he spit, idiot"?
Ouch! Ranveer, this is a lesson learnt. When getting close to your co-stars, ensure to still keep a distance.
Sonakshi now laughs thinking about the entire incident. We also asked Sonakshi Sinha, who was present for the promotions of Lootera in New Delhi, about when do we see the glamourous side of her in the films, she said, "I don't choose my films keeping the clothes in mind. Traditional is the new glamourous now but if I get an amazing role like Lootera, then i wouldn't mind being size 0 and wearing glam outfits."
