Sania Mirza churned out her best performance in two years at the grass
court extravaganza before bowing out at the quarters stage.
Partnering Romanian Horia Tecau, the duo were ousted by eighth
seeded Canadian-French pair Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic
7-6(5), 7-6(5) in one hour and 46 minutes.
Mirza’s previous best was the last eight stage finish in 2011.
Though out of the contest, Sania remains in news thanks to her
