A single camera angle could embarass Aishwarya Rai if Abhishek had seen it

Some pictures of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dig sensationalism and some spark controversies, while some are quite likely to embarass her completely. A lot of times, optical illusion in a photograph results in multiple misunderstandings, several speculations and unapologetic rumours. The picture above is one of them.

WHERE WAS THIS PICTURE TAKEN?
This photograph of Aishwarya was taken at the 2008 premiere of Amitabh Bachchan's National Award winning film Paa. It was a star-studded event with all the popular Bollywood faces in tow. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were playing the hosts for all the important guests, and were spotted greeting everyone as they entered.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING?
Aishwarya and Abhishek were greeting the Devgns - we mean they were welcoming Ajay Devgn and Kajol. Ash has worked with Ajay devgn in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam - one of her first hits - years ago, and since then, the two share a good bond. Ash was hugging and air-kissing Ajay Devgn - a gesture done socially to say hello.

WHAT DOES THE PICTURE MAKE YOU BELIEVE?
The picture makes a viewer believe that Ash was literally kissing Ajay as Abhishek and Kajol are oblivious of the activity.

WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE BACHCHANS HAD NOTICED IT?
Well, we know for the fact that had this picture been noticed by the Bachchans, it would have not gone too well with them. Remember how Ash's onscreen kiss with Hrithik Roshan (in Dhoom 2) reportedly didn't go down too well with her in-laws? The photographer of this picture, we believe, could have been in trouble for capturing a casual, friendly gesture in a way that looks more controversial than casual !
