Aishwarya Rai, Halle Berry In Saris: Who Looks Better? [PHOTOS] Fans Engage In Debate, Rai Has Best Face, Berry Best Body

Aishwarya Rai in a traditional sariWe thought that this was a real understatement since Aishwarya Rai is a former Miss World and has occasionally taken our breath away in traditional Indian looks.
However, it seems like people in general are very interested in comparing these two women, although one works in Bollywood and the other in Hollywood.
So we thought that it would be interesting to compare photos of Aishwarya Rai and Halle Berry in saris.
In the two photos featured here, both, Rai and Berry are wearing traditional red saris usually worn by brides.
Halle Berry has the traditional mehndi (henna) on her hands and forearms while Rai has the jhumkha (chandelier) earrings and the ghunghat (veil) over her hair. Halle Berry's hair is down while Rai's hair is pulled back.

At least in this comparison, we think that Rai is the winner because her lovely face just overpowers the photograph! At the same time, Berry looks quite pretty too.
Here is what some fans on LipstickAlley had to say about Halle Berry vs. Aishwarya Rai:
"Aish's face still looks stunning. I never cared about the body, it's the face that makes someone beautiful. Anyone can have a fit body with excercise but a beautiful face is a gift from god or a talented surgeon."
"Another thing about Aish is, during her peak she looked absolutely breathtaking on camera. Very few Actresses have ever looked as good on film...."
"Aish was born beautiful and by the looks of it never had any surgery. Natural beauty....She lost her spark after after pregnancy tho. Halle has managed to have aged better."
"And my vote goes to Aish. Halle is overrated to me."
"Not participating in this. They are both beautiful why the need to pit them against one another?"
Amen to that last comment! After all, they are both beautiful women and really, all women in the world are beautiful in one way or the other. So let's just celebrate female beauty and leave it at that
