UGC NET Application Form 2013

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the notification for UGC NET 2013 Entrance Exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureships. University Grants Commission National Entrance Test (UGC NET) is test for admission in Ph.D research and Jobs in university.


UGC NET 2013 Entrance Exam will be held on 23rd June 2013, Sunday. For further more details about CSIR-UGC NET 2013 Entrance Exam Pattern are given below:

Important Notes:
1. The schedule, date and timings of test may be changed at the discretion of CSIR.
2. The question booklet will be distributed 15 minutes before the question paper start to enable the applicants to go through the questions.
3. The OMR Answer Sheet shall be distributed at the scheduled time of the exam.
4. The Question Booklet for this test will be printed in Hindi & English except for Engineering Science. The Question Booklet for Engineering Science will be printed in English only.
5- Negative marking for wrong answers, wherever required, shall be applicable as per scheme of Exam.
Educational Requirement:
·         Applicants must have BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrated MS/MSc or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks for general and OBC and with at least 50% marks for SC/ST applicants, physically and visually handicapped applicants.

·         Applicants who are BSc  or equivalent degree holders or enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks for general and OBC applicants and 50% marks for SC/ST applicants, physically and visually handicapped applicants are also apply.

·         Applicants who have bachelor’s degree, whether Science, engineering or any other discipline, will be apply for fellowship only after getting registered / enrolled for PhD/Integrated PhD program within the validity period of two years.

·         Applicants who are PhD degree holders who have passed Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for Lectureship only.
Age Limit:

For Junior Research Fellowship: Applicants must have maximum age 28 years as on 1 January 2013. Upper age is relaxable to SC/ST/OBC, Physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female applicants up to 5 year.

For Lectureships:  No upper age limit
