Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil its next generation iPhone later this year, currently dubbed the iPhone 5S.

The iPhone 5 packs a 4-inch Retina Display that offers 1136 x 640 resolution and sports a high 326 pixels-per-inch (ppi) count which creates crisp looking images, video and text. The Retina Display technology remains as one of the best on the market and is rumored to be a part of the iPhone 5S.
Peter Misek, an analyst with Jefferies, believes that Apple may release an iPhone 5S with a Retina+ display, and possibly Sharp IZGO technology, according to Business Insider. Sharp has long been rumored to be bringing its IGZO technology to both the iPhone and the iPad and it could be that the iPhone 5S is the first iPhone to sport the company's display tech.
The iPhone 5S is rumored to have much of the same look and feel to its predecessor, but will have higher specs.
The specs for the iPhone 5 feature an A6 Processor, 16GB/32GB/64GB models, 8MP rear camera/HD Front-Facing Camera, a non-removable 1440mAh Battery,  and 1GB of RAM.
Apple's next-generation device will likely have an upgraded processor chip which could possibly be a faster A6X or as KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted it may have a new A7 chip, according to ComputerWorld.
The iPhone 5S will also allegedly feature a new super HD camera, 128GB storage, and a fingerprint sensor.
The iPhone 5S is likely to sell for around $350 to $450 for the basic model. A small price drop is expected for the iPhone 5 when the iPhone 5S is released.
