In an important notification dated 2 March 2013, the Human Resource
Development Group (HRDG) of CSIR extended last date for online and
offline submission of application forms for Joint CSIR-UGC NET.
Application forms can now be filled online till 15 March 2013 and a
print out of the same can be submitted till 19 March 2013 (23 March 2013
for candidates residing in remote areas).

The test will be conducted on 23 June 2013 to select candidates for Lectureship and Junior research Fellowship (JRF) in the field of Science. The recruitment will be made on the basis of merit in Written Test (single paper MCQ based test) in all the six subjects namely Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
