Bipasha Basu landed in London for the shooting of Humshakal.
After reaching there, she reported to the shooting. When she returned to the hotel after pack-up she realised she was missing some jewellery. Reveals a source close to Bipasha, “She went to London last weekend to shoot for Humshakal. She shot on the first day and when she returned to her hotel in Central London in the evening and found her three rings and gold Durga Maa locket (gifted by her mom) were missing.
Bips has a habit of taking them while shooting because of continuity issues and she leaves them lying about it in the room or bathroom. When she realised that her precious baubles were missing, she panicked. Before calling the cops, she called the owner of the hotel, also a friend.
The entire housekeeping staff was summoned and the hunt began. Bips was in tears because there was sentimental value to her jewellery. After searching for almost two hours finally they found her missing jewellery.”
Continues the source, “They found the jewellery in the trash basket. The housekeeping staff had thrown her jewellery pouch in their dump by mistake! She was so relieved that all her jewellery was found that she decided not to make an issue of it.” When asked about the incident Bipasha says, “I got it all back! Nothing to worry.”
