Kris Humphries popped the question to Kim Kardashian while cameras rolled for ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians.’
Kim Kardashian's hoopster ex-hubby just scored a basket of cash by
selling the diamond engagement ring he gave the reality TV star.
The massive sparkler sold for $749,000 at auction Tuesday in New York, a Christie’s rep told the Daily News. That’s about $10,400 for each of the 72 days Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married.
The Lorraine Schwartz ring features a 16.2-karat emerald cut center stone with 1.8-karat side diamonds.
“Kris is not losing money on the ring,” lawyer Lee Hutton said, referring to reports the ring had been worth $2 million.

"Kris, being an athlete, is getting ready for an upcoming season and ready for life’s lessons as they come along. This whole process was humbling but maturing."
