15-time singles Grand Slam champion Serena Williams and Belarus star Victoria Azarenka have been retain top two places in the WTA Rankings announced on Monday 25th February by WTA Tour.
31-year-old American tennis legend Serena Williams,
who has been playing best tennis of her career at the moment with
winning 2013 Australian Open championship last month and skips from
Dubai tennis Championships with back injury last week.
She is eyeing to regain 100 percent fitness for the upcoming WTA
Tournaments and can give tough challenge to her rivals Victoria Azarenka
and Maria Sharapova.
Serena has been leading No. 1 place with 10365 points, while Azarenka at No. 2 place with 10325 points respectively in the WTA Rankings. Both the players are going to fight for the top place in rankings
in upcoming months. Russian beauty Maria Sharapova holds No. 3 place
with 9715 points and Poland Star Agnieszka Radwanska at No. 4 with 7505
points.
