The People magazine nominated the dusky dimpled beauty,
Deepika Padukone as the most beautiful woman of India in the year 2013. She was
selected according to the result of a poll that was conducted by the magazine. The
result was declared with a great fanfare and an event that matched the occasion.
On this Sunday at the event in Mumbai the special edition of the magazine was
unveiled. The magazine cover portrayed the photo of the silver screen diva,
Deepika.
Deepika Padukone was herself present at the event to inaugurate the special issue of the magazine. The glamorous diva was wearing an outfit of Alexander McQueen. It was free lowing bright orange colored jump suit dress that had the luster of silk. Deepika’s personal designer Anaita Adajania has chosen the dress for the diva. Along with the dress, the designer has made the diva wear Kolhapuri sandals and a very elegant bracelet. The golden bracelet had an Amrapali design and housed green turquoise stones. The simple yet classy attire made the actress look more gorgeous than usual.
Other prominent guests present at the event were Aditi Rao Hydari, Mandira Bedi, Huma Qureshi, and Sasha Agha etc.
Deepika was in a candid mood at the vent and speaking about being nominated as the most beautiful woman of India in the year 2013, she said, “Like I’ve always believed I think it’s more important to be a good human being.
